About Me
Hey there! I’m Catie Elaine — an actress, writer, and producer based in Austin, Texas, with an enduring love for storytelling in all its forms.
I first caught the acting bug at theatre camp when I was just nine years old, and I’ve been following that little girl’s dream ever since. After earning my B.F.A. in Acting from St. Edward’s University, I immersed myself in Austin’s vibrant theatre scene, performing in productions like A Doll’s House (Different Stages), Our Town (The City Theatre), and Rhinoceros (Mary Moody Northen Theatre).
While my early years were spent on stage, my creative journey naturally expanded into film and television — where I’ve found a new passion for bringing grounded, authentic characters to life. I’ve appeared in several indie short films, and I’m especially proud of Try a Waffle Cone, an award-winning romantic comedy that will be coming to film festivals soon.
Right now, my focus is on developing and acting in screen projects that explore transformation, connection, and identity — including my latest project, the web series New Me, which was awarded “Best Romantic Comedy” at the Austin Comedy Festival (@newme.series) and Graduation Night, which is currently in development.
When I’m not on set or writing, you’ll probably find me connecting with others in Austin’s film community, exploring new parks with my toddler, baking snickerdoodle cookies, or dreaming up new stories to tell.
