Catie Elaine Hankins

About Catie

Catie Elaine Hankins is an American actress, writer, and producer residing in Austin, TX.

Catie began acting on stage at the age of 9 and has since continued her passion by receiving her B.F.A. in Acting from St. Edward’s University, performing in several theatres around Austin, being featured in indie shorts, and even writing, producing, and starring in her own short film, WILL.

While Film & TV productions are Catie’s focus currently, some of her recognizable theatre roles include Nora in A Doll’s House with Different Stages, Emily in Our Town with The City Theatre and Daisy in Rhinoceros with Mary Moody Northen Theatre.

Please follow Catie on Instagram (@catieelaine_actress) to stay up to date with current projects, including her web series, New Me, which is currently in development (@newme.series).

Right off the bat, Catie could be cast as a sweet southern belle (think Oliva Holt in Cruel Summer) or a bubbly, go-getter (think Reese Witherspoon in Legally Blonde, or Margot Robbie in Bombshell).

Catie is passionate about telling stories of victims. Victims of abuse, drug abuse, body shaming, social anxiety, you name it. If someone in the audience is going through the same thing, they can watch her character and know they are not alone. It’s a powerful thing and depending on the story line can bring justice to the victim!

Quick facts about Catie: She loves her husband, working out, going on adventures, getting outside, yoga, and reading about self-help/mindset.
